I see there is no county director for "Fairfield County". I live in Fairfield county and would like to know the steps/process in which to obtain that position. Thanks

I took the basic trapping class earlier this year and am looking forward to this years trapping season. I wanted to join the ct trappers association so I googled up ct trappers and found another organization as well. Is it the same one? I don't remember hearing about the other one though... I've looked at both websites and both seem equally tempting. I'm assuming both have the best interest of trapping in mind so I'll support both. Lastly following the fur prices from other state sites and "NAFA" we expect prices to climb or stay this way for a long time.....

JIm H. - Welcome to the "Brotherhood"! Fur is a volatile industry. Many factors influence the value of raw fur including overseas market economies primarily in Russia, China and Korea. Keep an eye out in the "Trapper & Predator Caller" and "Trapper's Post" magazines. They give you an honest outlook. Good luck this trapping season!

Thank you Alex! Looking forward to this season! Do you offer mentoring? I haven't taken my coyote class yet so will focus mostly on water trapping. Also I was able to make your Rendevous this year is there another one planned also is there anyone that could show me how to properly prepare the fur? Thanks again!
